Young Creative Agency started in founder Alberta Wright’s Art classroom with the support of 4.0 Schools and Artists For Humanity, the organization from which Wright graduated as a teen and which inspired YCA.
It grew into a youth-centered design studio with clients like Teach For America, The Ace Hotel, and the New Orleans Film Festival. A training space where young people learned foundational design skills and client processes through real-world client projects in collaboration with pro mentors. That studio found its home at Youth Empowerment Project and continues there today as YEP Design Works.
In 2018 we started up in Los Angeles, pairing pro mentors with talented young apprentices on projects for TaskForce, CreateCA and Spotify.
